Franz joined Challenger in 2022 and as Director Credit, is responsible for credit across different asset classes, with focus on Structured Credit / ABS.
Prior to joining Challenger, Franz was Vice President in the Credit Risk Management teams at Deutsche Bank, Sydney (7 years) and JP Morgan, London (4 years) and Sempra Commodities Trading (2yrs), where he worked on ABS, commercial real estate, special opportunities, commodities and general corporate transactions.
Franz holds a bilingual Bachelor / Masters (French / German) in Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Fribourg, and a Certificate in General Ecology from the University of Bern. He also spent one year of his Masters at the Department of Economics, Lund, Sweden
