Leila is Head of Capital Markets and Whole Loans, responsible for Challenger Investments’ portfolio acquisitions, as well as structuring and funding across the Challenger Investments’ platform.
Prior to her current role, Leila was Head of Global ABS and most recently Head of Global Credit for the Challenger Life balance sheet. Leila joined Challenger in 2012 focused on structured credit investing. Prior to joining Challenger, Leila held sales & trading roles at Barclays Capital and Merrill Lynch.
Leila holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Master in Financial Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from University College London.
